Major fire at oil terminal in Russia's Novorossiysk port
A major fire broke out at an oil terminal in Russia's Novorossiysk port on Monday, according to The Guardian. The terminal, which is Russia's main oil export hub in the region, has a capacity of 119,000 cubic metres and a throughput of 5 million tonnes a year.
The fire spread over an area of 1,300 square metres, while firefighters have been fighting the flames for a few hours yet. There were no reports of injuries. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
